Spectators: 6769 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1769, VIP seats: 0) Josef Maher made the kick off and thus started the match. 10 minutes into the match, Cornville's goal looked a bit too open when Damien Hamm came free, but Yong Coffman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Emerson Mora managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honeyfreaks's supporters rose to their feet, but Emerson Mora was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yong Coffman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damien Hamm in the 12th minute of play forced Cornville's goalkeeper Yong Coffman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bart Elder recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Cornville's Josef Maher slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of James Reyna. That made the score 1-0 after 23 minutes of play. When Felix Otto fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Honeyfreaks's protests and gave Felix Otto a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Honeyfreaks getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Felix Otto hit a great ball. If Josef Maher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emerson Mora recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Damien Hamm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Yong Coffman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. James Reyna made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Bart Elder sent off a good shot on target.

The wind increased when Damien Hamm made the kick off in the second half. DeAngelo Hernandez charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed DeAngelo Hernandez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. DeAngelo Hernandez kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. 57 minutes into the game, Josef Ciauri was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Honeyfreaks's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cornville the free kick. After 57 played minutes Honeyfreaks got a freekick which was hit by Josef Ciauri. James Reyna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Josef Maher, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bart Elder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. James Reyna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 78 played minutes Cornville got a freekick which was hit by Julian Harman. 80 minutes into the game, Curtis Walton was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cornville's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Honeyfreaks the free kick. In the 79th minute, one of Cornville:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cornville. Leonardo Dempsey did an outstanding performance 81 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 1-1 to the right of an irritated Yong Coffman in the goal. 97 minutes into the game, Bart Elder cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. James Reyna was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Cornville had won after a very even match.
