Spectators: 7632 (Terracing: 5700, Seating: 1778, VIP seats: 154) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Donnie Stanford took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Choctaw's zone, Alfonzo Triplett stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgardo Burris came out of the goal and Alfonzo Triplett tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Jermaine Foreman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Malibu City AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jermaine Foreman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edgardo Burris breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alfonzo Triplett received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Edgardo Burris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute Jermaine Foreman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgardo Burris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute, Malibu City AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Santo Banning fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Donnie Stanford sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 25th minute by Santo Banning got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Edgardo Burris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jermaine Foreman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Choctaw getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Ferdinand Carmona hit a great ball. When Malibu City AFC's Jermaine Foreman in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Choctaw's goalie prevented a goal. Alfonzo Triplett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgardo Burris having to interfere. A wasted opportunity for Choctaw. When Ted Whitmore fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Malibu City AFC's protests and gave Ted Whitmore a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Choctaw booed when Malibu City AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ted Whitmore didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Jermaine Foreman made the kick off in the second half. Malibu City AFC's Jake Cash played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donnie Stanford in the 55th minute of play. In the 56th match minute, Choctaw was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santo Banning to maneuver through the defense. Merle Langford hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. 60 minutes into the match, Choctaw's Gerry Golden broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Donnie Stanford fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jake Cash having to interfere. After 67 played minutes Choctaw got a freekick which was hit by Dwayne Gould. After 70 minutes, Collin Dickinson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Choctaw and the Malibu City AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 70th match minute, Choctaw was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Collin Dickinson to maneuver through the defense. Malibu City AFC's Jake Cash played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donnie Stanford in the 73rd minute of play. Jake Cash showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donnie Stanford in the 80th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santo Banning in the 92nd minute of play forced Malibu City AFC's goalkeeper Jake Cash to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
