Honeyfreaks's James Reyna proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Honeyfreaks from getting a goal against them. Octavio Gregg hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Korey McNamara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 16th minute Wallace Villa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but James Reyna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Korey McNamara scored 1-0 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of James Reyna, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 23rd minute, Wallace Villa made a precise shot to the right of James Reyna. Honeyfreaks's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Korey McNamara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Damien Hamm managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honeyfreaks's supporters rose to their feet, but Damien Hamm was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carson Hankins breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Toby Harrell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without James Reyna having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Korey McNamara got free with James Reyna in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Honeyfreaks's James Reyna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wallace Villa in the 39th minute of play. Bradly Whitley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

If Wallace Villa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wallace Villa succeeded in the game's 65th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0. 68 minutes into the match, Honeyfreaks's goal looked a bit too open when Korey McNamara came free, but James Reyna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wallace Villa in the 70th minute of play forced Honeyfreaks's goalkeeper James Reyna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
