Avluca city's Basil Painter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Devon Swanson in the 3rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Randy Chacon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Avluca city's supporters rose to their feet, but Randy Chacon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chris Singletary breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Randy Chacon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chris Singletary having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Devon Swanson took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Basil Painter to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Randy Chacon in the 26th minute of play forced Federal Way's goalkeeper Chris Singletary to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Randy Chacon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ramiro Maurer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basil Painter having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Avluca city's Adalberto Bowman got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Basil Painter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marquis Felix in the 36th minute of the match. Devon Swanson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Basil Painter having to make a save. In the 43rd minute, Denver Titus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Ramiro Maurer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Federal Way's supporters rose to their feet, but Ramiro Maurer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Basil Painter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Randy Chacon to make the kick off. After 53 minutes, Roland Payne mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Federal Way and the Avluca city players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Ramiro Maurer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Randy Chacon in the 64th minute of play forced Federal Way's goalkeeper Chris Singletary to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 67 minutes, Randy Chacon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Avluca city's supporters crossed their fingers, but Randy Chacon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Ramiro Maurer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Federal Way booed when Avluca city was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reinaldo Lucero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chris Singletary showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Randy Chacon, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 81st minute, Marvin Katz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Noah MacDowell missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 82 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Basil Painter right hand side. After 83 minutes, Denver Titus mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Avluca city and the Federal Way players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Federal Way booed when Avluca city was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denver Titus didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 90th minute, Randy Chacon made a precise shot to the right of Chris Singletary. Federal Way's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
