But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristopher Delarosa couldn't finish the play. Joseph Strong's late challenge caught a Lake Odessa AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristopher Delarosa made a kick off. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
