Spectators: 7693 (Terracing: 5812, Seating: 1781, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Raphael Miner started the match with the kick off. Derick Lamb made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benny Harvey in the 4th minute of play. Dante Mason scored 1-0 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wilford DeJesus, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Raphael Miner came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the corndog fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raphael Miner couldn't finish the play. Ace Lowe hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 14th minute, Raphael Miner fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 15th match minute, corndog was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Terrell Harris to maneuver through the defense. 18 minutes into the match, corndog's goal looked a bit too open when Benny Harvey came free, but Derick Lamb reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stewart Bonner's late challenge caught a corndog's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stewart Bonner helped the player get up and apologised. In the 19th minute, Stewart Bonner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dante Mason fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilford DeJesus having to interfere. Wilford DeJesus made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Dante Mason sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Raphael Miner took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Wilford DeJesus to make any attempt to save it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benny Harvey to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Sandy Schneider hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Doug Blanchard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benny Harvey in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Derick Lamb prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ace Lowe during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 73rd minute Benny Harvey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Derick Lamb saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th minute, Doug Blanchard got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 86 played minutes corndog got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Horn. Through an outstanding action, after 87 minutes, Derick Lamb successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Dante Mason sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. corndog's Raphael Miner got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 94 minutes into the match, Podhale FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dante Mason came free, but Wilford DeJesus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stephan Suggs in the 98th minute of play forced Podhale FC's goalkeeper Wilford DeJesus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Podhale FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
