After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Devon Guinn managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jarrettsville's supporters rose to their feet, but Devon Guinn was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Monty Sheldon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Arnold Matos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Monty Sheldon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damon Grossman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 13 minutes into the match, Arnold Matos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Monty Sheldon. Huracan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arnold Matos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Murray Hendrix got a throw-in 17 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Shelton Stratton. Rob Childs made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Marcus Bruner sent off a good shot on target. Arnold Matos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Damon Grossman might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Monty Sheldon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Damon Grossman ran back to his position shaking his head. Devon Guinn's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Monty Sheldon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. After 32 minutes of play, Jarrettsville's Arnold Matos made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Monty Sheldon was left in no man's land by his defense there! Calvin Blackburn kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Huracan's Rob Childs threw himself towards the right post 37 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Shelton Stratton, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 39th minute, Shelton Stratton made a precise shot to the right of Rob Childs. Jarrettsville's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. If Damon Grossman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Monty Sheldon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Devon Guinn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The wind increased when Damon Grossman made the kick off in the second half. Rob Childs took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcus Bruner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Huracan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jarrettsville the free kick. In the 66th minute, Tracy Craven hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Devon Guinn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Arnold Matos might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Monty Sheldon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arnold Matos ran back to his position shaking his head. Arnold Matos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 83 minutes, Arnold Matos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jarrettsville's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnold Matos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Devon Guinn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Monty Sheldon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 87 minutes of play Huracan's Tracy Craven was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Tracy Craven kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. The attack was good, but when Damon Grossman in the 94th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. The Huracan fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Jarrettsville were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
