Lawrence Healy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Parker Sherwood tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Manheim FC's zone, Hayden Cavazos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Parker Sherwood came out of the goal and Hayden Cavazos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Domenic Sexton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Vicente Ayala tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 17 minutes into the game, Jarvis Pham recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vicente Ayala. Jarvis Pham showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. If Hayden Cavazos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jarvis Pham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 31st minute Hayden Cavazos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Parker Sherwood saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfonzo Burkett struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Vicente Ayala didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Manheim FC. Jarvis Pham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

After having played for 53 minutes, Jarvis Pham managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manheim FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jarvis Pham was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Jarvis Pham came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Manheim FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jarvis Pham couldn't finish the play. Parker Sherwood made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lawrence Healy in the 68th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jarvis Pham in the 70th minute of play forced IRON BOYS's goalkeeper Vicente Ayala to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jarvis Pham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Ayala having to interfere. If Jarvis Pham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Manheim FC's Alfonzo Burkett got a free kick in the 84th minute. 85 minutes into the match, IRON BOYS's Wes Rosa broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Hayden Cavazos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Parker Sherwood having to interfere. Manheim FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of IRON BOYS for a fine match.
