Harvey Draper showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kent Weeks in the 12th minute of the match. Ezra Holbrook fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harvey Draper having to interfere. Ward Kruse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roy Manley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gerry Wong during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gerry Wong kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. When Kent Weeks came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Warrensville Heights fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kent Weeks couldn't finish the play. Kent Weeks fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harvey Draper having to interfere. Roy Manley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Warrensville Heights's Ward Kruse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wesley Shepard in the 54th minute of play. Garth Carver's late challenge caught a Warrensville Heights's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Garth Carver helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Bay Breakers FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Garth Carver hit a great ball. Garth Carver hit a great ball. After 69 played minutes Bay Breakers FC got a freekick which was hit by Jordan Echols. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Roy Manley managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bay Breakers FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Roy Manley was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ward Kruse breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Roy Manley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ward Kruse yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. The Bay Breakers FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Bay Breakers FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
