Spectators: 6773 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1773, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Norman Bergman kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, Mankato's goal looked a bit too open when Max Bolton came free, but Johnathon Gallo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 11 minutes of play, Springfield FC's Maxwell Garrison made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Johnathon Gallo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Norman Bergman kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 18thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Springfield FC's keeper Lanny Cobb was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Lanny Cobb showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dexter Jeffers, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 24 minutes into the match, Gilberto Bruce had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Johnathon Gallo. Mankato's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gilberto Bruce was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Gilberto Bruce succeeded in the game's 29th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-3. Johnathon Gallo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Bruce in the 35th minute of the match. In the 38th minute Max Bolton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johnathon Gallo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dexter Jeffers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Lanny Cobb tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dexter Jeffers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lanny Cobb having to interfere. The supporters of Springfield FC booed when Mankato was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jarrod Langston didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Mankato players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Springfield FC were winning 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gilberto Bruce stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tom Kessler's late challenge caught a Mankato's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tom Kessler helped the player get up and apologised. Tom Kessler hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. 54 minutes into the match, Springfield FC's goal looked a bit too open when Norman Bergman came free, but Lanny Cobb reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute, Gilberto Bruce left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Springfield FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Johnathon Gallo came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Springfield FC's Max Bolton. But to his dismay, Max Bolton quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Johnathon Gallo was a little too slow when Max Bolton got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 65th minute. The score was now 0-6. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Norman Bergman in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lanny Cobb prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Johnathon Gallo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Bruce in the 77th minute of play. Norman Bergman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lanny Cobb read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Mankato's goal looked a bit too open when Gilberto Bruce came free, but Johnathon Gallo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute of the match Max Bolton sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Johnathon Gallo skillfully saved the ball. 91 minutes into the game, Gilberto Bruce recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Johnathon Gallo. Gilberto Bruce showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. In the 95th minute Rory Mata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johnathon Gallo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mankato's Johnathon Gallo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilberto Bruce in the 96th minute of play. Springfield FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
