Renaldo Owens was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 17 minutes into the match, Comunicaciones's Marshall Kimbrough sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Renaldo Owens narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gary Petty showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emmitt Knapp, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Galt AFC's Emmitt Knapp sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gary Petty narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A hard shot 32 in the game by Leonard Burt from a close distance when the talented Renaldo Owens managed to make a qualified save. Galt AFC's players were relieved. 35 minutes into the match, Comunicaciones's Leonard Burt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Renaldo Owens narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marshall Kimbrough in the 36th minute of play forced Galt AFC's goalkeeper Renaldo Owens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 39 minutes, Filiberto Cerna mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Galt AFC and the Comunicaciones players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 39 played minutes Galt AFC got a freekick which was hit by Filiberto Cerna. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Marshall Kimbrough made the kick off in the second half. Renaldo Owens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonard Burt, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Marshall Kimbrough sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Comunicaciones's Leonard Burt got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 65th match minute, Comunicaciones was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rashad Hutchins to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Galt AFC's zone, Leonard Burt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Renaldo Owens came out of the goal and Leonard Burt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Comunicaciones's Marshall Kimbrough got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leonard Burt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leonard Burt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Renaldo Owens having to make a save. Leonard Burt struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Renaldo Owens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Comunicaciones. In the 84th minute, Galt AFC's Del Hutchison seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Del Hutchison the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Galt AFC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Del Hutchison had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 84 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Galt AFC! Galt AFC's Renaldo Owens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonard Burt in the 91st minute of play. Rashad Hutchins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leonard Burt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Renaldo Owens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Comunicaciones's Nathan Morin managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Emmitt Knapp in the 97 minute of the game. 98 minutes into the match, Galt AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Leonard Burt came free, but Renaldo Owens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Comunicaciones's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
