Blair Day took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Walker Babcock. Walker Babcock dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Leland Puckett recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 13th minute there was a penalty for Nice. Donny Stiles stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Walker Babcock. 0-2. Walker Babcock showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donny Stiles, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. If Donny Stiles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Boston Celtics getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Zane Good hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Donny Stiles managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nice's supporters rose to their feet, but Donny Stiles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Walker Babcock breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 27th match minute, Boston Celtics was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zane Good to maneuver through the defense. When Warner Jensen fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Boston Celtics's protests and gave Warner Jensen a yellow card for diving instead. In the 30th minute, Warner Jensen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Donny Stiles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Walker Babcock tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Walker Babcock showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Blair Day, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Blair Day fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walker Babcock having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Donny Stiles made the kick off in the second half. An unexpected shot in the 52nd minute by Leland Puckett got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Donny Stiles hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 65th match minute, Boston Celtics was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tanner Tripp to maneuver through the defense. Nice's Blair Day got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rickey Deering during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Blair Day took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Walker Babcock. Walker Babcock dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Donny Stiles's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Walker Babcock read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. DeMarcus Leon was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 82 minutes into the match. The goalkeeper, Walker Babcock, was totally fooled by Nice's Donny Stiles, who 84 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blair Day in the 90th minute of play forced Boston Celtics's goalkeeper Walker Babcock to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Boston Celtics's goal looked a bit too open when Donny Stiles came free, but Walker Babcock reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Boston Celtics's Walker Babcock got control of the ball when Leland Puckett tried to sneak it across the goal line. Donny Stiles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Donny Stiles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 100th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nice played a much better game than Boston Celtics and deserved their victory. The Boston Celtics players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
