Spectators: 7687 (Terracing: 5766, Seating: 1768, VIP seats: 153) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Brendan Oliver kicked off to start the match. Rashad Andrews received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Peter Louis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ovidio Birjaio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Eastman in the 8th minute of play. Emanuel Raines hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Garry Hawkins during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 22 played minutes Pontiac got a freekick which was hit by Garry Hawkins. Golden Striker FC's Rashad Andrews got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 30th minute of the match Garry Small sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ovidio Birjaio skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to Golden Striker FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Emanuel Raines hit a great ball. 35 minutes into the game, Tracy Dillard recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ovidio Birjaio. Tracy Dillard showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 42 minutes into the game, Brendan Oliver cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Peter Louis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tracy Dillard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Tracy Dillard made the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, Golden Striker FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tracy Dillard came free, but Ovidio Birjaio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute, Emanuel Raines hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ovidio Birjaio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lyle Stoddard, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Ovidio Birjaio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tracy Dillard's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. In the 76th minute, Brendan Oliver got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rashad Andrews recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 83rd minute, Fletcher Moreland got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brendan Oliver in the 86th minute of play forced Pontiac's goalkeeper Peter Louis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brendan Oliver received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Peter Louis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pontiac succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Golden Striker FC had controlled the match.
