Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Bill Dunbar got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th minute, Azzurri's Norbert Cardwell dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Norbert Cardwell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Rueben Farrell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jarrett Chacon during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jarrett Chacon kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 13th minute of the match Tyrone Blanton shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rueben Farrell showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 15 minutes in the game, Brant Merritt fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Rueben Farrell having to interfere. Norbert Cardwell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rueben Farrell having to interfere. Rueben Farrell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norbert Cardwell, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Brant Merritts short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got Rueben Farrell to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 22nd minute Norbert Cardwell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rueben Farrell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Norbert Cardwell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Rueben Farrell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rd match minute, Azzurri was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Monroe Purcell to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Azzurri getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Jarod Barnhart hit a great ball. When Norbert Cardwell came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Azzurri fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Norbert Cardwell couldn't finish the play. Brant Merritt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. TEXASFC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Norbert Cardwell 42 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Norbert Cardwell to strike the kick off in the second half. Brant Merritt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Rueben Farrell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 54 minutes into the game, Azzurri's Norbert Cardwell nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rueben Farrell made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. In the 60thth minute of the game Brant Merritt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but TEXASFC's Rueben Farrell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bill Dunbar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tad Stiles having to interfere. Romeo Merchant could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Tad Stiles made a huge save. Rueben Farrell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norbert Cardwell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd minute, Brant Merritt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 74 minutes of play, Azzurri's Norbert Cardwell made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rueben Farrell was left in no man's land by his defense there! Norbert Cardwell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wade Golden charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wade Golden the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, TEXASFC's Wade Golden got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Tyrone Blanton, 84 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Rueben Farrell came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Azzurri's Brant Merritt. But to his dismay, Brant Merritt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. In the 94th minute, Brant Merritt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rueben Farrell was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Azzurri had played much better football throughout.
