Spectators: 6764 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1764, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Cason Cedillo took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 3 played minutes, Boulder City AFC's Gilberto Jefferson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Shawn Chavez came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Boulder City AFC reached it. Derrick Goldstein fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Rector having to interfere. Cason Cedillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Diego Rector read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. Moises Cotton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Shawn Chavez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 12 minutes into the game, Abdul Cora was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Riverside's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Boulder City AFC the free kick. Abdul Cora kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Moises Cotton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Shawn Chavez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17th match minute, Riverside was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerry Saunders to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Moises Cotton got free with Shawn Chavez in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Al Cordova blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Shawn Chavez having to make a save. Shawn Chavez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Moises Cotton in the 25th minute. Riverside's Shawn Chavez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Riverside from getting a goal against them. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Boulder City AFC's goalkeeper Diego Rector, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 32nd match minute, Boulder City AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hans Dudley to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Derrick Goldstein in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Diego Rector prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Diego Rector showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cason Cedillo in the 37th minute of the match. Sheldon Leon charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sheldon Leon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sheldon Leon kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Shawn Chavez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moises Cotton, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Moises Cotton in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Shawn Chavez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Shawn Chavez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Al Cordova, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Moises Cotton struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Shawn Chavez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boulder City AFC. Shawn Chavez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moises Cotton in the 67th minute of the match. If Moises Cotton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Al Cordova fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shawn Chavez having to interfere. In the 77thth minute of the game Al Cordova who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Riverside's Shawn Chavez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Al Cordova in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Shawn Chavez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Derrick Goldstein sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Cason Cedillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Derrick Goldstein got free with Diego Rector in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Moises Cotton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Sheldon Leon was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 89 minutes had been played. In the 95th minute Moises Cotton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shawn Chavez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Shawn Chavez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moises Cotton, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Riverside players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Boulder City AFC.
