The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Saul Frederick had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. The audience was convinced that Dennis Lamb's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jesse Cody was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rex Strickland showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Darren Pham in the 83rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Besëlidhja Lezhë's zone, D.J. Veltman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rex Strickland came out of the goal and D.J. Veltman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dennis Lamb sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Besëlidhja Lezhë players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
