The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. But to his dismay, Monte Vasquez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Deon Hawthorne blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Deshawn Grimes having to make a save. Ricky Crews sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Deshawn Grimes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Deon Hawthorne showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 15 minute of play. Pete Deleon kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Kevin Kirkpatrick stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Monte Vasquez's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. With a little luck, Social Circle's Deshawn Grimes got control of the ball when Deon Hawthorne tried to sneak it across the goal line. Enoch Rivers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Enoch Rivers sped through Rocky Ford's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Kevin Kirkpatrick. Deon Hawthorne struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Deshawn Grimes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rocky Ford. After a rather tough play, Social Circle's Colin Krueger got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Deon Hawthornes short, quick shot in the 43rdth minute got Deshawn Grimes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to Social Circle getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Monte Vasquez hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The wind increased when Monte Vasquez made the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Social Circle got a freekick which was hit by Monte Vasquez. Deon Hawthorne struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Deshawn Grimes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rocky Ford. If Deon Hawthorne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Social Circle's zone, Deon Hawthorne stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Deshawn Grimes came out of the goal and Deon Hawthorne tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Deshawn Grimes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricky Crews in the 64th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, Monte Vasquez dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Kevin Kirkpatrick, 1-3. Social Circle's Deshawn Grimes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Deon Hawthorne in the 73rd minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Rocky Ford fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 78th minute. Penalty! Florian Dickey shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Enoch Rivers struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Kevin Kirkpatrick didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Social Circle. The audience was convinced that Monte Vasquez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kevin Kirkpatrick was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Monte Vasquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kevin Kirkpatrick having to interfere. When Roderick Burnett fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rocky Ford's protests and gave Roderick Burnett a yellow card for diving instead. Deshawn Grimes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Deon Hawthorne in the 94th minute of the match. The Rocky Ford supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Social Circle's performance. The match ended with a win for Social Circle.
