Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) In the 4th minute Al Cordova shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shawn Chavez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Shawn Chavez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Al Cordova in the 5th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, Charles Lopez fired a really elegant long shot, but Diego Rector threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Al Cordova fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shawn Chavez having to interfere. In the 17th minute, Riverside's Cason Cedillo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Diego Rector. Diego Rector yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After 21 played minutes Riverside got a freekick which was hit by Charles Lopez. After 22 played minutes, Boulder City AFC's Rigoberto Weller shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Shawn Chavez came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Boulder City AFC reached it. Derrick Goldstein fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Rector having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Derrick Goldstein managed to get in a good position for a shot. Riverside's supporters rose to their feet, but Derrick Goldstein was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Diego Rector breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Cason Cedillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 28 minutes, Gilberto Jefferson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Boulder City AFC and the Riverside players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 27th minute of the game. One of Boulder City AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Riverside:s goal. When the match had been going on for 29 minutes, Riverside's Charles Lopez got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Diego Rector. After some careless play in the Riverside defense, Moises Cotton kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Shawn Chavez. The Riverside fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Shawn Chavez should have stopped the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Cason Cedillo made the kick off in the second half. Derrick Goldstein took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Diego Rector. Diego Rector dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. 56 minutes into the match, Riverside's goal looked a bit too open when Al Cordova came free, but Shawn Chavez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 58 played minutes Boulder City AFC got a freekick which was hit by Al Cordova. In the 61st minute, Cason Cedillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Derrick Goldstein might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Diego Rector. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Derrick Goldstein ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Derrick Goldstein in the 67th minute of play forced Boulder City AFC's goalkeeper Diego Rector to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diego Rector showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cason Cedillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Diego Rector showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cason Cedillo in the 71st minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Moises Cotton got free with Shawn Chavez in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cason Cedillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
