Chalco's Graham Bullock proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Chalco from getting a goal against them. After 36th play minutes Ari Brandon shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Mohammad Braswell and just under the crossbar into goal. Cliff Robertson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Mohammad Braswell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andreas London kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Ari Brandon made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Sporting Club Llobregat's Chad Costa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Graham Bullock narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 57th minute Cliff Robertson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mohammad Braswell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Sporting Club Llobregat booed when Chalco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ari Brandon didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chad Costa in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Graham Bullock saved Chalco from getting behind. In the 74thth minute of the game Ari Brandon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sporting Club Llobregat's Mohammad Braswell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ari Brandon struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Mohammad Braswell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chalco. With a little luck, Sporting Club Llobregat's Mohammad Braswell got control of the ball when Cliff Robertson tried to sneak it across the goal line. With his leg Mohammad Braswell managed to avoid a goal in the 89thth minute, when Chalco's Cliff Robertson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Mohammad Braswell made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Cliff Robertson sent off a good shot on target.
