After 12 minutes of play, Cross City FC's Darren Pham made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Deshawn Grimes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Darren Pham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Deshawn Grimes having to interfere. 20 minutes into the game, Enoch Rivers recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jesse Cody. Enoch Rivers showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. In the 22nd minute, Elton Annan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jesse Cody stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Monte Vasquez's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. If Monte Vasquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31stth minute of the game Monte Vasquez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cross City FC's Jesse Cody was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Enoch Rivers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Monte Vasquez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jesse Cody was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Ahmed Luna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Darren Pham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 54th minute, Pete Deleon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Monte Vasquez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Jesse Cody tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jesse Cody took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Monte Vasquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th minute, Allan Schultz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 70 minutes in the game Ali Stoddard got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by D.J. Veltman during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cross City FC's D.J. Veltman got a free kick in the 74th minute. Enoch Rivers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesse Cody having to interfere. 79 minutes into the match, Monte Vasquez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jesse Cody. Cross City FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Monte Vasquez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. 82 minutes into the match, Social Circle's goalkeeper Deshawn Grimes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by D.J. Veltman. After 87 minutes Social Circle's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ali Stoddard who took care of the corner kick. The supporters of Social Circle booed when Cross City FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ignacio Nash didn't get a good kick on the ball. Social Circle's Monte Vasquez got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Monte Vasquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesse Cody having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Social Circle fully deserved thier win.
