After 4 played minutes Pelé & Cosmos MZS got a freekick which was hit by Hugh Valentine. Orville Gillis charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Orville Gillis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 11th match minute, Futura FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orville Gillis to maneuver through the defense. Scotty Castro hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Orville Gillis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Pelé & Cosmos MZS's 邓博源 got a free kick in the 17th minute. Orville Gillis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Oren Nugent read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. A well-hit corner resulted in Dustin Hopper heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 23 minutes into the game, Cameron Busby was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pelé & Cosmos MZS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Futura FC the free kick. Cameron Busby kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. If Scotty Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35thth minute of the game Mitch Bates who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Futura FC's Rodger Voss was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Orville Gillis made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Dustin Hopper had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Oren Nugent. Pelé & Cosmos MZS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dustin Hopper was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Pelé & Cosmos MZS's Oren Nugent played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orville Gillis in the 59th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Scotty Castro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Oren Nugent was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Javier Torres kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Rodger Voss stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mitch Bates's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Pelé & Cosmos MZS's Oren Nugent played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orville Gillis in the 69th minute of play. 70 minutes into the game, Robben Carlos threw the ball into play from the sideline. Cameron Busby fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodger Voss having to interfere. The supporters of Futura FC booed when Pelé & Cosmos MZS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mitch Bates didn't get a good kick on the ball. Futura FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
