Ron Pina was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domingo Otero in the 9th minute of play forced Phoenixsun's goalkeeper Ron Pina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Red Hill FC's Rocky Squires got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Neal Vickers charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Neal Vickers the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 15th match minute, Phoenixsun was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Neal Vickers to maneuver through the defense. After 16 minutes, Thomas Jacob mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Phoenixsun and the Red Hill FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Phoenixsun getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Thomas Jacob hit a great ball. Ron Pina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rocky Squires, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21stth minute of the game Domingo Otero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Phoenixsun's Ron Pina was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ron Pina stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Domingo Otero's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd minute, Rocky Squires got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 26 minutes into the match, Phoenixsun's goal looked a bit too open when Domingo Otero came free, but Ron Pina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ron Pina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lloyd Castillo in the 27th minute of the match. In the 29thth minute of the game Domingo Otero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Phoenixsun's Ron Pina was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Phoenixsun's goal looked a bit too open when Domingo Otero came free, but Ron Pina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Red Hill FC booed when Phoenixsun was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Darin Bruner didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rdth minute of the game Domingo Otero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Phoenixsun's Ron Pina was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ron Pina made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After the first half Red Hill FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Domingo Otero to make the kick off. Lloyd Castillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Ron Pina tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Phoenixsun's Chris Valle got a free kick in the 55th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Rocky Squires managed to get in a good position for a shot. Red Hill FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rocky Squires was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ron Pina breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Darin Bruner hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. When Rocky Squires came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Red Hill FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rocky Squires couldn't finish the play. In the 67th minute Domingo Otero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ron Pina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, Phoenixsun's goal looked a bit too open when Rocky Squires came free, but Ron Pina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Phoenixsun's Ron Pina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domingo Otero in the 74th minute of play. Ron Pina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingo Otero in the 76th minute of play. In the 77thth minute of the game Domingo Otero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Phoenixsun's Ron Pina was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Red Hill FC's Leonardo Browning played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eldon Washington in the 83rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Domingo Otero's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ron Pina was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. After 96 played minutes Phoenixsun got a freekick which was hit by Rosario Gates. Red Hill FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
