Stuart Carr might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alonso Romo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stuart Carr ran back to his position shaking his head. Chase Workman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilbur Starnes in the 16th minute of play. After 28 minutes, Kenny Kelly mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zanice FC and the Fort Pierce Sqwewouth AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kenny Kelly hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Zanice FC's Kenny Kelly got a free kick in the 29th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Zanice FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rod Worthington came free, but Chase Workman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rod Worthington in the 32nd minute of play forced Zanice FC's goalkeeper Chase Workman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Theron Petty had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Chase Workman. Zanice FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Theron Petty was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 37 minutes into the game, Fort Pierce Sqwewouth AFC's Theron Petty nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Chase Workman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After a defensive mix-up in Zanice FC's zone, Claudio Little stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chase Workman came out of the goal and Claudio Little tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Chase Workman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rod Worthington's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. After having played for 46 minutes, Stuart Carr managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zanice FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stuart Carr was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rod Worthington stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Theron Petty charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Theron Petty the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Zanice FC booed when Fort Pierce Sqwewouth AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Theron Petty didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 53rd minute, Fort Pierce Sqwewouth AFC's Claudio Little ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Chase Workman. Chase Workman yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. Alonso Romo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stuart Carr, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After a rather tough play, Zanice FC's Austin Carrasco got a free kick in the 61st minute. Chase Workman didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 62nd minute, which inside left pole to 0-5. Theron Petty scored 0-6 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Chase Workman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Theron Petty in the 70th minute of play forced Zanice FC's goalkeeper Chase Workman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Malcolm Prescott got free with Chase Workman in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Chase Workman was a little too slow when Rod Worthington got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 73rd minute. The score was now 0-7. When Moses Fish fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zanice FC's protests and gave Moses Fish a yellow card for diving instead. After 85 played minutes Zanice FC got a freekick which was hit by Moses Fish. Stuart Carr sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Fort Pierce Sqwewouth AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
