Rolland Sherman made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Trenton Case sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Trenton Case got free with Rolland Sherman in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Malta AFC booed when Boca Raton F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elijah Michael didn't get a good kick on the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Malta AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Wyatt Arroyo came free, but Bob Hedrick reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Malta AFC's Nathaniel Singleton got a free kick in the 15th minute. Rolland Sherman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bradley Potter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Loren Leslie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 36 played minutes Malta AFC got a freekick which was hit by Rene Tidwell. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Wyatt Arroyo put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Bob Hedrick. 43 minutes into the game, Boca Raton F.C.'s Markus Lawler nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bob Hedrick made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. With a little luck, Boca Raton F.C.'s Rolland Sherman got control of the ball when Rex Pulliam tried to sneak it across the goal line. Malta AFC's Bob Hedrick played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Neal Gale in the 48th minute of play. After the first half Boca Raton F.C. were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bradley Potter stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Markus Lawler blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bob Hedrick having to make a save. In the 59th minute, Rex Pulliam hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wyatt Arroyos short, quick shot in the 61stth minute got Bob Hedrick to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 62nd minute Markus Lawler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bob Hedrick saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64thth minute of the game Wyatt Arroyo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Malta AFC's Bob Hedrick was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alejandro Jensen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Bob Hedrick made a huge save. Rene Tidwell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wyatt Arroyo succeeded in the game's 75th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-4. In the 80th match minute, Boca Raton F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abraham Duvall to maneuver through the defense. Trenton Case took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rolland Sherman. Rolland Sherman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Abraham Duvall kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rex Pulliam in the 90th minute of play forced Boca Raton F.C.'s goalkeeper Rolland Sherman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Boca Raton F.C. played a much better game than Malta AFC and deserved their victory. The Malta AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
