Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Stuart Carr started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute of the match, Domenico Arden tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Chase Workman saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 5th play minute Domenico Arden came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Chase Workman. 1-0. After a rather tough play, Downriver AFC's Sydney Cowan got a free kick in the 8th minute. Stuart Carr struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Ivan Higgins didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zanice FC. In the 13th minute, Downriver AFC's Domenico Arden dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. 17 minutes into the game, Sydney Cowan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Chase Workman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 19 minutes into the match, Downriver AFC's Sydney Cowan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Chase Workman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A hard shot by Vince Bustamante from long distance, 21 minutes into the match, got Chase Workman's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 22nd minute, Sydney Cowan made a precise shot to the right of Chase Workman. Zanice FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. 39 minutes into the match, Stuart Carr notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Downriver AFC's Ivan Higgins. Ivan Higgins was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 43 minutes into the match, Zanice FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sydney Cowan came free, but Chase Workman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stuart Carr blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ivan Higgins having to make a save.

If Stuart Carr had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stuart Carr recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 70th minute Ian Tompkins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chase Workman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71stth minute of the game Sydney Cowan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zanice FC's Chase Workman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 76th minute, Zanice FC's Stuart Carr dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-2. In the 81stth minute of the game Sydney Cowan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zanice FC's Chase Workman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ian Tompkins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kenny Kelly charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kenny Kelly the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Sydney Cowan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
