Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicky Stapleton in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bob Hedrick prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nicky Stapleton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 25th minute, Sean Egan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Charles Town fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After a rather tough play, Malta AFC's Bradley Potter got a free kick in the 28th minute. Bob Hedrick made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicky Stapleton in the 29th minute of play. After 32 minutes of play, Charles Town's Sean Egan made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bob Hedrick was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bob Hedrick showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicky Stapleton in the 36th minute of the match. Sean Egan took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bob Hedrick. Bob Hedrick dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Malta AFC's Bob Hedrick played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sid Gentry in the 42nd minute of play. A collision led to Malta AFC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Trenton Case hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicky Stapleton in the 45th minute of play forced Malta AFC's goalkeeper Bob Hedrick to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicky Stapleton's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bob Hedrick read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play.

Bob Hedrick was a little too slow when Sean Egan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 0-6. Bob Hedrick showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sean Egan, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Nicky Stapleton took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bob Hedrick. After 62 played minutes Malta AFC got a freekick which was hit by Rene Tidwell. Charles Town's Mitchell Mosher was substituted for Luca Agachi. Rene Tidwell kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Sean Egan scored 0-9 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bob Hedrick, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Avery King had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Charles Town fans' excitement grew in the 79th match minute when Charles Town's Avery King looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-10 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 83rdth minute of the game Avery King who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Malta AFC's Bob Hedrick was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nicky Stapleton who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 95thth minute tested the skills of Bob Hedrick when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
