Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Malta AFC's Bradley Potter started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 3 minutes, Rod Worthington managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fort Pierce Sqwewouth AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rod Worthington was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Malta AFC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Woody Gilbert hit a great ball. Bob Hedrick showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudio Little, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Alonso Romo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bradley Potter in the 7th minute of play. Fort Pierce Sqwewouth AFC's Alonso Romo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Fort Pierce Sqwewouth AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 15th minute, Malta AFC's Trenton Case dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Theron Petty sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Fort Pierce Sqwewouth AFC's Theron Petty got a free kick in the 18th minute. Theron Petty recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rod Worthington sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Woody Gilbert charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Woody Gilbert the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Malta AFC's Woody Gilbert got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 31st minute, Rod Worthington ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bob Hedrick was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 35th minute Bradley Potter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alonso Romo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute, Wilbur Starnes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bob Hedrick was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 40th minute Bradley Potter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alonso Romo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Malcolm Prescott recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alonso Romo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bradley Potter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rod Worthington stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Rod Worthington recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bob Hedrick. Rod Worthington showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wilbur Starnes got free with Bob Hedrick in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rod Worthington fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bob Hedrick having to interfere. In the 58th minute, Bradley Potter made a precise shot to the right of Alonso Romo. Fort Pierce Sqwewouth AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. After some careless play in the Malta AFC defense, Theron Petty kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bob Hedrick. The Malta AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bob Hedrick should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Rod Worthington managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fort Pierce Sqwewouth AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rod Worthington was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bob Hedrick breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 2-5 became the score in the 70th minute when Claudio Little elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Malta AFC's goalkeeper Bob Hedrick, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Malta AFC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Rene Tidwell hit a great ball. After 77 played minutes Malta AFC got a freekick which was hit by Rene Tidwell. If Theron Petty had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Malcolm Prescott recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Rex Pulliam fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Malta AFC's protests and gave Rex Pulliam a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Fort Pierce Sqwewouth AFC booed when Malta AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rex Pulliam didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alonso Romo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Trenton Case in the 88th minute of play. 89 minutes into the game, Rod Worthington cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-6. Bob Hedrick was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 92nd minute, Trenton Case ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alonso Romo was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-6. Rod Worthington sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fort Pierce Sqwewouth AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
