After having played for 30 minutes, Berry Aviles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Vasquitos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Berry Aviles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 36 played minutes The Vasquitos got a freekick which was hit by Byron Stapleton. In the 37th minute, Jerrod Crabtree got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jerrod Crabtree recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A hard shot 41 in the game by Berry Aviles from a close distance when the talented Zachery Ayers managed to make a qualified save. Retamoso FC's players were relieved.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Berry Aviles made a kick off. In the 51st match minute, Retamoso FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristobal Pryor to maneuver through the defense. In the 52ndth minute of the game Whitney Hansen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Retamoso FC's Zachery Ayers was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Jerrod Crabtree had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, The Vasquitos's Rigoberto Cook got a free kick in the 63rd minute. With his leg Byron Messer managed to avoid a goal in the 65thth minute, when Retamoso FC's Bob Tinsley fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Retamoso FC's goalkeeper Zachery Ayers, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, The Vasquitos's Byron Messer got control of the ball when Bob Tinsley tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Bob Tinsley could shoot a difficult shot in the 73rd minute, which Byron Messer however easily saved by the left post. The Vasquitos's Byron Messer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save The Vasquitos from getting a goal against them. In the 79th minute, Neal Ladner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Vasquitos made a substitution. Roscoe Dennison replaced Berry Aviles. Retamoso FC's Greg Caldwell got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 84th match minute, Retamoso FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristobal Pryor to maneuver through the defense. Zachery Ayers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roscoe Dennison in the 87th minute of the match.
