In the 11th match minute, Grayville was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tim McClelland to maneuver through the defense. Asher Mann was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 14 minutes into the match. The referee gave Grayville a penalty, 16 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Brent Aguilar, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Malibu Soccer Beach's Rory Whitlock. 1-1. After 20 played minutes Grayville got a freekick which was hit by Tim McClelland. Quentin Clifford stood somewhat misplaced when Sammy Cegielski came free in front of goal and shot 2-1 to the left of him in the 23 minute. A hard shot 37 in the game by Sammy Cegielski from a close distance when the talented Quentin Clifford managed to make a qualified save. Grayville's players were relieved. After 39 minutes Grayville's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Derick Sloan who took care of the corner kick.

The wind increased when Ali Jacobson made the kick off in the second half. Sammy Cegielski scored 5-1 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Quentin Clifford, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Grayville booed when Malibu Soccer Beach was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Winford Parson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Quentin Clifford stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sammy Cegielski's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. The supporters of Grayville booed when Malibu Soccer Beach was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Todd Dwyer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sammy Cegielski in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Quentin Clifford prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Alonzo Hoff fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Grayville's protests and gave Alonzo Hoff a yellow card for diving instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Malibu Soccer Beach had played much better football throughout.
