Spectators: 8084 (Terracing: 6064, Seating: 1859, VIP seats: 161) Lions FC's Sung Conrad started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Lions FC's zone, Blair Dupre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Korey Conley came out of the goal and Blair Dupre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 0-1 became the score in the 7th minute when Zack Lindsey elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. A collision led to Lions FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Porter Shipp hit a great ball. In the 11th minute of the match Trenton Estes sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Korey Conley skillfully saved the ball. In the 12th minute Sung Conrad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raúlo Irisarri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sung Conrad in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Raúlo Irisarri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sung Conrad had several of the Boston University's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 16 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Raúlo Irisarri as he didn't even see the shot coming. Sung Conrad in the 19thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Raúlo Irisarri, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Sung Conrad hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. When Zack Lindsey came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Boston University fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zack Lindsey couldn't finish the play. Sung Conrad who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 24thth minute tested the skills of Raúlo Irisarri when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Korey Conley came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Boston University's Shawn Wood. But to his dismay, Shawn Wood quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The Lions FC fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when Lions FC's Sung Conrad looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a little luck, Boston University's Raúlo Irisarri got control of the ball when Sung Conrad tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sung Conrad was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 36th minute. Lions FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 38thth minute of the game Sung Conrad who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Boston University's Raúlo Irisarri was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A hard shot 40 in the game by Sung Conrad from a close distance when the talented Raúlo Irisarri managed to make a qualified save. Boston University's players were relieved. When Zack Lindsey came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Boston University fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zack Lindsey couldn't finish the play. Raúlo Irisarri made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Donovan York sent off a good shot on target. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Zack Lindsey made the kick off in the second half. Shawn Woods short, quick shot in the 52ndth minute got Korey Conley to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Lions FC's Korey Conley proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Lions FC from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Lions FC's Korey Conley got control of the ball when Shawn Wood tried to sneak it across the goal line. Blair Dupre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Korey Conley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Korey Conley made an important save on a dangerous shot by Shawn Wood in the 73rd minute. A collision led to Lions FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Brice Peters hit a great ball. Kaspar Niinep might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Korey Conley. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kaspar Niinep ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Sung Conrad managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lions FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sung Conrad was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raúlo Irisarri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Lions FC's Sung Conrad in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Boston University's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Zack Lindsey took a quick shot and it went in 2-4 without a chance for Korey Conley to make any attempt to save it. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Raúlo Irisarri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 96 minutes into the match, Sung Conrad had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Raúlo Irisarri. Boston University's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sung Conrad was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-4.
