Jarrett Brewer made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Shawn Wood sent off a good shot on target. Solomon Riker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Solomon Riker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Raúlo Irisarri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Solomon Riker in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Raúlo Irisarri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Solomon Riker struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Raúlo Irisarri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pago Pago FC. Gordon Wiggins blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Raúlo Irisarri having to make a save. Raúlo Irisarri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Solomon Riker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Boston University getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Truman Serrano hit a great ball. 26 minutes into the match, Boston University's goal looked a bit too open when Solomon Riker came free, but Raúlo Irisarri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raúlo Irisarri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clay Munoz in the 30th minute of the match. If Solomon Riker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gordon Wiggins hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Theodore Contreras hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. After 38 minutes of play, Boston University's Zack Lindsey made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jarrett Brewer was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Zack Lindsey's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jarrett Brewer was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. After 43 played minutes Boston University got a freekick which was hit by Trenton Estes. 44 minutes into the game, Pago Pago FC's Gordon Wiggins nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Raúlo Irisarri made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Arnoldo Parra took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Raúlo Irisarri. Boston University's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zack Lindsey to make the kick off. In the 51st minute Jacques Duff shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raúlo Irisarri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 52 minutes into the match, Boston University's goal looked a bit too open when Jacques Duff came free, but Raúlo Irisarri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, Pago Pago FC's goal looked a bit too open when Shawn Wood came free, but Jarrett Brewer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Shawn Wood's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jarrett Brewer was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. The Boston University fans' excitement grew in the 60th match minute when Boston University's Zack Lindsey looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. In the 67th minute, Jesse Cannon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Solomon Riker in the 68thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Raúlo Irisarri, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Shawn Wood scored 3-1 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jarrett Brewer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 74th play minutes Shawn Wood shot 4-1, a short shot which went by Jarrett Brewer and just under the crossbar into goal. Boston University's Shawn Wood got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Boston University getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Jesse Cannon hit a great ball. After having played for 80 minutes, Jacques Duff managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pago Pago FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacques Duff was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jarrett Brewer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zack Lindsey in the 82nd minute of the match. When Eddie Clay fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pago Pago FC's protests and gave Eddie Clay a yellow card for diving instead. Solomon Riker's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Raúlo Irisarri firmly grabbed it by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Boston University's zone, Solomon Riker stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raúlo Irisarri came out of the goal and Solomon Riker tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 94th minute, Gordon Wiggins got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Pago Pago FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Boston University.
