If Osvaldo Maloney had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Johnathan Gaston showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgilio Delgado, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 36 minutes into the match, Anabola Pojkarna's goal looked a bit too open when Donovan Wetzel came free, but Rodrick Braun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anabola Pojkarna's Virgilio Delgado got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The wind increased when Glen McCarthy made the kick off in the second half. Donovan Wetzel might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rodrick Braun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Donovan Wetzel ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 55th minute, Donovan Wetzel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cedar Lake FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. When Glen McCarthy came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Cedar Lake FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Glen McCarthy couldn't finish the play. After 66 played minutes Anabola Pojkarna got a freekick which was hit by Monte Bowles. A long shot from Johnny Patton in the 67th minute of play was well struck, but Rodrick Braun made a really good save at the right post.
