Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rudolf Culver to make the kick off. If Ernest Osborne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Owen McClendon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Terrence Murry tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A.J. Schulz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sonny Herrera having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by A.J. Schulz in the 66th minute of play forced Goofyland Big-Birds's goalkeeper Sonny Herrera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rudolf Culver might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sonny Herrera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rudolf Culver ran back to his position shaking his head. Terrence Murry was out of position in the 72 minute of play, and Darren Dunbar capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal.
