After 7 played minutes Goofyland Big-Birds got a freekick which was hit by Chris Cahill. Sonny Herrera made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Sanford Egan sent off a good shot on target. After 11 minutes, Sebastian Montoya made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Goofyland Big-Birds's Sonny Herrera tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 19 played minutes Itta Bena got a freekick which was hit by Ali Glenn. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sebastian Montoya in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sonny Herrera saved Goofyland Big-Birds from getting behind. In the 27th minute, Chris Cahill hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Goofyland Big-Birds getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Julian Burrell hit a great ball. After 37 played minutes Itta Bena got a freekick which was hit by Raymond Winston. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sebastian Montoya in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sonny Herrera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 41st match minute, Itta Bena was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ali Glenn to maneuver through the defense. In the 43rd minute, Darren Dunbar made a precise shot to the right of Joshua Ashby. Itta Bena's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Sebastian Montoya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sanford Egan was the one to do the kick off. Goofyland Big-Birds's Sonny Herrera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lenny Cortez in the 55th minute of play. Sebastian Montoya took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sonny Herrera. Sonny Herrera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. The Itta Bena fans' excitement grew in the 59th match minute when Itta Bena's Sanford Egan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lenny Cortez in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sonny Herrera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 66 minutes of play Goofyland Big-Birds's Chris Cahill was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 67th minute, Chris Cahill hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 4-1 became the score in the 69th minute when Sebastian Montoya elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 72ndth minute of the game Sanford Egan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Goofyland Big-Birds's Sonny Herrera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Goofyland Big-Birds getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Ulysses Atwood hit a great ball. The Itta Bena fans' excitement grew in the 74th match minute when Itta Bena's Sebastian Montoya looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Sebastian Montoya took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sonny Herrera. Sonny Herrera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. When the match clock showed 82 minutes, the score became 7-1 when Sanford Egan sped through Goofyland Big-Birds's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sonny Herrera. The supporters of Itta Bena booed when Goofyland Big-Birds was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Owen McClendon didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Sanford Egan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Itta Bena's supporters rose to their feet, but Sanford Egan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sonny Herrera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 90th minute Sanford Egan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sonny Herrera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There was no doubt that Itta Bena were the better team. Itta Bena's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
