After 13 minutes, Harvey Burkhart mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GKS Łapsze Niżne and the Pearl River players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 13th match minute, GKS Łapsze Niżne was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harvey Burkhart to maneuver through the defense. Whitney Wong sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Homer Metzgers short, quick shot in the 43rdth minute got Alexander Jefferson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Homer Metzger in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alexander Jefferson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The audience was convinced that Homer Metzger's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alexander Jefferson was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. In the 53rd match minute, Pearl River was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Darnell Diaz to maneuver through the defense. Alexander Jefferson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from DeAngelo Denton went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Sonny Whalen kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in GKS Łapsze Niżne's zone, Felipe Booth stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. DeMarcus Peoples came out of the goal and Felipe Booth tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felipe Booth got free with DeMarcus Peoples in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Homer Metzger in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. In the 67th minute, Darnell Diaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 69 minutes, Harvey Burkhart managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GKS Łapsze Niżne's supporters crossed their fingers, but Harvey Burkhart was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 74th minute, Sonny Whalen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Felipe Booth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. DeAngelo Denton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Jefferson having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Homer Metzger put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Alexander Jefferson. DeMarcus Peoples made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Booth in the 92nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, GKS Łapsze Niżne's Sonny Whalen got a free kick in the 93rd minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. GKS Łapsze Niżne fully deserved thier win.
