In the 17th match minute, Los Angeles FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cameron McCabe to maneuver through the defense. Cameron McCabe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilbur Cormier having to interfere. 24 minutes into the game, Los Angeles FC's Cameron McCabe nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wilbur Cormier made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. The supporters of South Beach FC booed when Los Angeles FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boyd Caudill didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Los Angeles FC's Antony Castle got a free kick in the 33rd minute. South Beach FC's Wilbur Cormier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cameron McCabe in the 35th minute of play. Wilbur Cormier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cameron McCabe in the 41st minute of the match. When Cameron McCabe came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Los Angeles FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cameron McCabe couldn't finish the play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cameron McCabe to strike the kick off in the second half. After 56 played minutes South Beach FC got a freekick which was hit by Robby Baltazar. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Cameron McCabe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Angeles FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cameron McCabe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilbur Cormier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cameron McCabe in the 59th minute of play forced South Beach FC's goalkeeper Wilbur Cormier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilbur Cormier prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 87 minutes into the match, Los Angeles FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lyle Irvin came free, but Jayson Faulkner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cameron McCabe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cameron McCabe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Wilbur Cormier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Los Angeles FC played a much better game than South Beach FC and deserved their victory. The South Beach FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
