Spectators: 7993 (Terracing: 5996, Seating: 1838, VIP seats: 159) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Manuel Cunha started the match with the kick off. Zachariah Quintana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Cunha in the 4th minute of play. When Ray Valenzuela fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Southside USA's protests and gave Ray Valenzuela a yellow card for diving instead. Ray Valenzuela kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Jonah Bates acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 6th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Trent Stafford. In the 7th minute, Elton Rowan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zachariah Quintana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerardo Cote in the 8th minute of the match. In the 13th minute, Gerardo Cote got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 15th minute Manuel Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zachariah Quintana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 15 minutes, Manuel Cunha made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Montesa de Lugo's Zachariah Quintana tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 18 played minutes Montesa de Lugo got a freekick which was hit by Phillip Benitez. Playo Moreno hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Zachariah Quintana came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Southside USA's Manuel Cunha. But to his dismay, Manuel Cunha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 27th minute, Playo Moreno made a precise shot to the right of Zachariah Quintana. Montesa de Lugo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 30th minute, Xavier Sierra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Allan Bruner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zachariah Quintana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerardo Cote, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zachariah Quintana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Playo Moreno in the 34th minute of the match. When Manuel Cunha fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. After 35 played minutes Southside USA got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Cunha. 38 minutes into the match, Playo Moreno notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Montesa de Lugo's Zachariah Quintana. Zachariah Quintana was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Zachariah Quintana didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Manuel Cunha went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. In the 46th match minute, Montesa de Lugo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Quinn to maneuver through the defense.

Zachariah Quintana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerardo Cote in the 55th minute of the match. Zachariah Quintana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Playo Moreno in the 57th minute of play. 58 minutes into the game, Southside USA's Manuel Cunha nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zachariah Quintana made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. Zachariah Quintana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Playo Moreno, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Zachariah Quintana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ray Valenzuela in the 63rd minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Montesa de Lugo's goal looked a bit too open when Playo Moreno came free, but Zachariah Quintana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Southside USA's Jonah Bates played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Quinn in the 67th minute of play. Zachariah Quintana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xavier Sierra, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. A collision led to Montesa de Lugo getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Phillip Benitez hit a great ball. Playo Moreno took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zachariah Quintana. Zachariah Quintana dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. Scott Hanna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manuel Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zachariah Quintana having to interfere. Bennett Aaron charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bennett Aaron the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Montesa de Lugo getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Bennett Aaron hit a great ball. Zachariah Quintana made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Manuel Cunha sent off a good shot on target. Alfredo Quinn struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Jonah Bates didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Montesa de Lugo. Bennett Aaron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Jonah Bates tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Montesa de Lugo's Zachariah Quintana got control of the ball when Manuel Cunha tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match was over Southside USA could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Montesa de Lugo throughout the match.
