Monmouth's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vilseck FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Monmouth's Garret Dodson got a free kick in the 11th minute. If Aaron Rasmussen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Monmouth getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Alberto Chappelle hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Vilseck FC's Rocky Hamm got a free kick in the 21st minute. Monmouth's Alex Westbrook played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aaron Rasmussen in the 30th minute of play. 32 minutes into the game, Vilseck FC's Monty Dykes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alex Westbrook made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. When Werner Vickers fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Monmouth's protests and gave Werner Vickers a yellow card for diving instead. Werner Vickers kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Alex Westbrook didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aaron Rasmussen went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 48th minute, Aaron Rasmussen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vilseck FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The wind increased when Michael Crusher made the kick off in the second half. Aaron Rasmussen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 60 minutes into the game, Aaron Rasmussen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Alex Westbrook was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Vilseck FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Boyce Monroe should have stopped the shot. When the final whistle sounded Vilseck FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Monmouth.
