Spectators: 7650 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 150) 4 minutes into the match, Cary Allen notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Monmouth's Alex Westbrook. Alex Westbrook was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 7 minutes into the match, Monmouth's goalkeeper Alex Westbrook had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cary Allen. Alex Westbrook was a little too slow when Cary Allen got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 9th minute. The score was now 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Timmy Herrera in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alex Westbrook prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cary Allen's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Alex Westbrook firmly grabbed it by the left post. When Redford's Timmy Herrera in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Monmouth's goalie prevented a goal. 21 minutes into the match, Monmouth's goal looked a bit too open when Cary Allen came free, but Alex Westbrook reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Myles Cano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Westbrook having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, Cary Allen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alex Westbrook. Monmouth's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cary Allen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. In the 43rd minute, Cary Allen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alex Westbrook was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cary Allen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cary Allen in the 54th minute of play forced Monmouth's goalkeeper Alex Westbrook to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Monmouth's goal looked a bit too open when Cary Allen came free, but Alex Westbrook reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Michael Crusher received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Todd Welsh came out and tried to block the shot, but Michael Crusher slotted it home off the left post making it 5-1 in the 60th minute. After a rather tough play, Redford's Merlin Cermak got a free kick in the 64th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Cary Allen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Redford's supporters rose to their feet, but Cary Allen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alex Westbrook breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 71st minute, Cary Allen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Redford fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. Cary Allen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 78 minutes into the match, Monmouth's goal looked a bit too open when Myles Cano came free, but Alex Westbrook reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Cary Allen put it in 7-1 from a short distance just to the right of Alex Westbrook. A collision led to Redford getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Timmy Herrera hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cary Allen in the 94th minute of play forced Monmouth's goalkeeper Alex Westbrook to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Redford fully deserved thier win.
