In the 16th minute, Gerardo Cote left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Southside USA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The supporters of Southside USA booed when Vilseck FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jospeh Carr didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manuel Cunha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Manuel Cunha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Boyce Monroe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Southside USA's Playo Moreno got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Boyce Monroe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xavier Sierra in the 31st minute of the match. Vilseck FC's Boyce Monroe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerardo Cote in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vilseck FC's goalkeeper Boyce Monroe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Boyce Monroe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Cunha in the 39th minute of the match. Manuel Cunha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vilseck FC's Boyce Monroe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Playo Moreno in the 48th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
After 51 minutes, Raul McDonough mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vilseck FC and the Southside USA players grew even worse after the yellow card. Vilseck FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Southside USA the free kick. In the 53rd match minute, Vilseck FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jospeh Carr to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Manuel Cunha kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Boyce Monroe. That made the score 0-3 in the 56 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aaron Rasmussen in the 61st minute of play forced Southside USA's goalkeeper Jonah Bates to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Playo Moreno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 66th match minute, Southside USA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kip Meredith to maneuver through the defense. Vilseck FC's Marlin Cramer got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonah Bates showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aaron Rasmussen, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Marlin Cramer charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marlin Cramer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Vilseck FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Marlin Cramer hit a great ball. After having played for 72 minutes, Manuel Cunha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Southside USA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manuel Cunha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aaron Rasmussen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonah Bates having to interfere. 77 minutes into the match, Southside USA's goal looked a bit too open when Aaron Rasmussen came free, but Jonah Bates reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Cunha in the 78th minute of play forced Vilseck FC's goalkeeper Boyce Monroe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Vilseck FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
