Spectators: 5015 (Terracing: 4005, Seating: 1005, VIP seats: 5) In the 3rd minute, one of Vilseck FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Vilseck FC. Vilseck FC's Boyce Monroe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francis Flaherty in the 14th minute of play. After 25 minutes, Jospeh Carr mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vilseck FC and the Mathews AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 25 played minutes Vilseck FC got a freekick which was hit by Jospeh Carr. Cason Parks might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Boyce Monroe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cason Parks ran back to his position shaking his head. After 34 played minutes Vilseck FC got a freekick which was hit by Rocky Hamm. After a defensive mix-up in Mathews AFC's zone, Marlin Cramer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ethan Frey came out of the goal and Marlin Cramer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Boyce Monroe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harvey Cho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

65 minutes into the game, Mathews AFC's Harvey Cho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Boyce Monroe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Harvey Cho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Boyce Monroe made a huge save. Cason Parks received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Boyce Monroe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aaron Rasmussen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vilseck FC's Jospeh Carr got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match was over Mathews AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Vilseck FC throughout the match.
