The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Marlin Cramer came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Vilseck FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marlin Cramer couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Vilseck FC's Raul McDonough got a free kick in the 9th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Cary Allen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Redford's supporters rose to their feet, but Cary Allen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Boyce Monroe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 10 minutes, Vernon Mattson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vilseck FC and the Redford players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Redford booed when Vilseck FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vernon Mattson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Boyce Monroe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cary Allen, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. After having played for 17 minutes, Cary Allen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Redford's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cary Allen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 20th minute of the match, Timmy Herrera tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Boyce Monroe saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Timmy Herrera kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. The supporters of Redford booed when Vilseck FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raul McDonough didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Vilseck FC's Boyce Monroe got control of the ball when Cary Allen tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Vilseck FC's Raul McDonough got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Vilseck FC's goalkeeper Boyce Monroe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Redford's Todd Welsh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aaron Rasmussen in the 33rd minute of play. Timmy Herrera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boyce Monroe having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Raul McDonough hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Julio Thome came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Redford fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julio Thome couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cary Allen in the 46th minute of play forced Vilseck FC's goalkeeper Boyce Monroe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cary Allen was the one to do the kick off. After 52 minutes of play, Redford's Timmy Herrera made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Boyce Monroe was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Timmy Herrera managed to get in a good position for a shot. Redford's supporters rose to their feet, but Timmy Herrera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Boyce Monroe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 63rd play minutes Cary Allen shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Boyce Monroe and just under the crossbar into goal. Vilseck FC's Boyce Monroe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Myles Cano in the 66th minute of play. Boyce Monroe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cary Allen in the 71st minute of play. Boyce Monroe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Myles Cano, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Timmy Herrera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Boyce Monroe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Boyce Monroe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. After 93 minutes, Aaron Rasmussen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vilseck FC and the Redford players grew even worse after the yellow card. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Redford fully deserved thier win.
