Spectators: 7759 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1600, VIP seats: 159) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Reyes Edmondson kicked off to start the match. Ethan Frey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cary Allen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ethan Frey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Myles Cano in the 11th minute of play. Ethan Frey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cary Allen in the 13th minute of play. Cason Parks recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ethan Frey stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cary Allen's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. In the 19th minute, Logan Otto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ethan Frey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timmy Herrera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ethan Frey came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Redford's Cary Allen. But to his dismay, Cary Allen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The audience was convinced that Cary Allen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ethan Frey was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Ethan Frey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cary Allen, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. The Redford fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when Redford's Timmy Herrera looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Pascal Jacobs's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ethan Frey read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Timmy Herrera in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ethan Frey saved Mathews AFC from getting behind. The Mathews AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Redford were winning 0-4.

The wind increased when Cary Allen made the kick off in the second half. Reyes Edmondson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Todd Welsh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Todd Welsh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francis Flaherty in the 57th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Cary Allen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ethan Frey. Mathews AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cary Allen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. 0-6 became the score in the 62nd minute when Cary Allen elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. A hard shot 66 in the game by Cary Allen from a close distance when the talented Ethan Frey managed to make a qualified save. Mathews AFC's players were relieved. The supporters of Redford booed when Mathews AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boyce Means didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cary Allen's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 73rdth minute, Ethan Frey skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Redford's Julio Thome was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ethan Frey in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Mathews AFC's Ethan Frey proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Mathews AFC from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Reyes Edmondson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mathews AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Reyes Edmondson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Todd Welsh breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 84th match minute, Mathews AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boyce Means to maneuver through the defense. Redford's Julio Thome shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 85th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ethan Frey but with some difficulty. After a defensive mix-up in Mathews AFC's zone, Cary Allen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ethan Frey came out of the goal and Cary Allen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Cary Allen kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ethan Frey. That made the score 0-7 in the 90 minute of play. After some careless play in the Mathews AFC defense, Cary Allen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ethan Frey. The Mathews AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ethan Frey should have stopped the shot. When the final whistle sounded Redford left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Mathews AFC.
