Spectators: 7650 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 150) John Hartford FC's Leland Rubio started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Myles Cano in the 6th minute of play forced John Hartford FC's goalkeeper Whitney Swift to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7th minute Timmy Herrera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Whitney Swift saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. John Hartford FC's Whitney Swift proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save John Hartford FC from getting a goal against them. Leland Rubio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Christian Kruse came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the John Hartford FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christian Kruse couldn't finish the play. Whitney Swift made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timmy Herrera in the 14th minute of play. If Christian Kruse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bradly Ludwig during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Redford getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Bradly Ludwig hit a great ball. Rocco Berg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Todd Welsh having to interfere. Timmy Herrera hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. After 27 minutes of play, Redford's Cary Allen made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Whitney Swift was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cary Allen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Whitney Swift came out and tried to block the shot, but Cary Allen slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 30th minute. After 35 played minutes Redford got a freekick which was hit by Pascal Jacobs. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leland Rubio in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Todd Welsh saved Redford from getting behind. Todd Welsh stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leland Rubio's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Thaddeus Stevens's late challenge caught a John Hartford FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thaddeus Stevens helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Redford fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 43rd minute. Penalty! In the 44th minute there was a penalty for John Hartford FC. Rocco Berg stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Todd Welsh. 2-1.

The wind increased when Cary Allen made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to John Hartford FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Denver Thacker hit a great ball. Whitney Swift showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julio Thome in the 54th minute of the match. 56 minutes in the game Sydney Locke did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Myles Cano. In the 60th minute, Leland Rubio made a precise shot to the right of Todd Welsh. Redford's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. 63 minutes into the game, Cary Allen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Whitney Swift was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Leland Rubio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Todd Welsh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Pascal Jacobs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Todd Welsh was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Rocco Berg. 80 minutes into the match, Leland Rubio dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Todd Welsh, 4-3. Whitney Swift stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cary Allen's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Leland Rubios short, quick shot in the 87thth minute got Todd Welsh to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Whitney Swift took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cary Allen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 91 minutes into the match, Redford's goal looked a bit too open when Leland Rubio came free, but Todd Welsh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Todd Welsh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leland Rubio in the 94th minute of play. Redford's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
