In the 16th minute Devin Oliver shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Westbrook saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alex Westbrook showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The wind increased when Randell Rivera made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd play minute James Starnes came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Alex Westbrook. 0-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when James Starnes got free with Alex Westbrook in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nicholas Wolff came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Monmouth's Michael Crusher. But to his dismay, Michael Crusher quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Randell Rivera struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Alex Westbrook didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Novatoo. 70 minutes into the match, Monmouth's goalkeeper Alex Westbrook had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Randell Rivera. If Michael Crusher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Novatoo booed when Monmouth was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Garret Dodson didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Monmouth getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Garret Dodson hit a great ball. Alex Westbrook showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Randell Rivera in the 81st minute of the match. In the 83rdth minute of the game Michael Crusher who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Novatoo's Nicholas Wolff was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Monmouth's Alex Westbrook played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Randell Rivera in the 87th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Monmouth's zone, Devin Oliver stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alex Westbrook came out of the goal and Devin Oliver tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 92 minutes into the match, Monmouth's goal looked a bit too open when Randell Rivera came free, but Alex Westbrook reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute, James Starnes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 95th minute of the match Ray Cook shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nicholas Wolff showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The Monmouth fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Novatoo were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
