Spectators: 8007 (Terracing: 6007, Seating: 1841, VIP seats: 159) Washburn FC's Casey Whitfield started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the match, Monmouth's goalkeeper Alex Westbrook had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Scottie Reid. Alex Westbrook was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dalton McElroy showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. When Monmouth's Michael Crusher in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Washburn FC's goalie prevented a goal. After 13 played minutes Casey Whitfield rounded Monmouth's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. 16 minutes into the game, Washburn FC's Dalton McElroy nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alex Westbrook made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Alex Westbrook showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dalton McElroy in the 20th minute of the match. Alex Westbrook didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Casey Whitfield went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. If Dalton McElroy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robbie Hicks recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alex Westbrook showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Casey Whitfield in the 33rd minute of the match. Alonzo Donovan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Alex Westbrook tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alex Westbrook came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Washburn FC's Casey Whitfield. But to his dismay, Casey Whitfield quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Alex Westbrook made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Casey Whitfield sent off a good shot on target. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Michael Crusher made the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, Casey Whitfield had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alex Westbrook. Monmouth's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Casey Whitfield was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Washburn FC made a substitution. Cliff Horner replaced Alonzo Donovan. An unexpectedly hard shot by Casey Whitfield in the 63rd minute of play forced Monmouth's goalkeeper Alex Westbrook to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64thth minute of the game Casey Whitfield who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Monmouth's Alex Westbrook was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alberto Chappelle charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alberto Chappelle the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Monmouth's Alberto Chappelle got a free kick in the 66th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Casey Whitfield in the 68th minute of play forced Monmouth's goalkeeper Alex Westbrook to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Casey Whitfield had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cliff Horner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Westbrook having to interfere. 78 minutes into the match, Dalton McElroy had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alex Westbrook. Monmouth's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dalton McElroy was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. After a rather tough play, Monmouth's Alexis Ferrell got a free kick in the 81st minute. Alex Westbrook showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dalton McElroy, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Alberto Chappelle was shown his second yellow card after 90 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Monmouth getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Alberto Chappelle hit a great ball. Alex Westbrook came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Washburn FC's Dalton McElroy. But to his dismay, Dalton McElroy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. When the referee ended the match the Washburn FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
