Spectators: 7886 (Terracing: 5915, Seating: 1814, VIP seats: 157) Riley Moss started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a rather tough play, Inter Miami's Riley Moss got a free kick in the 5th minute. In the 9th minute Riley Moss shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rudolph Stevenson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, Inter Miami's goalkeeper Nicky Nichols had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Michael Wilkes. In the 21st minute, Riley Moss ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rudolph Stevenson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Riley Moss in the 24th minute of play forced Iberia United's goalkeeper Rudolph Stevenson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Inter Miami's Dwight Krause quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Laurence Karros, made in the 26th minute of the game. In the 27th minute, Riley Moss ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rudolph Stevenson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Inter Miami's Nicky Nichols played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joseph Donaldson in the 30th minute of play. Rudolph Stevenson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boyd Carpenter in the 33rd minute of play. Rudolph Stevenson came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Inter Miami's Boyd Carpenter. But to his dismay, Boyd Carpenter quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stewart Diamond during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Stewart Diamond hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After 43 minutes of play, Inter Miami's Boyd Carpenter made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rudolph Stevenson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rudolph Stevenson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Riley Moss in the 47th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Michael Wilkes to make the kick off. Rudolph Stevenson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Riley Moss in the 53rd minute of play. After 58 played minutes Inter Miami got a freekick which was hit by Riley Moss. Through an outstanding action, after 61 minutes, Rudolph Stevenson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 62 minutes into the match, Iberia United's goalkeeper Rudolph Stevenson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Boyd Carpenter. In the 63rd minute Dwight Krause shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rudolph Stevenson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64th minute of the match, Riley Moss tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rudolph Stevenson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Boyd Carpenters short, quick shot in the 69thth minute got Rudolph Stevenson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Boyd Carpenter was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 72nd minute. Inter Miami's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Riley Moss fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rudolph Stevenson having to interfere. Boyd Carpenter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 78th minute, Boyd Carpenter made a precise shot to the right of Rudolph Stevenson. Iberia United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Rudolph Stevenson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Riley Moss in the 88th minute of play. Boyd Carpenter's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 90thth minute, Rudolph Stevenson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Bennett Petersen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rudolph Stevenson having to interfere. Inter Miami's Dwight Krause suffered a concussion after 92 minutes and had to leave the field. Esteban Newcomb's late challenge caught a Inter Miami's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Esteban Newcomb helped the player get up and apologised. Inter Miami's Dane Starnes was substituted for Dwight Krause. In the 94th match minute, Iberia United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteban Newcomb to maneuver through the defense. Inter Miami played a much better game than Iberia United and deserved their victory. The Iberia United players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
