Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Silas Moreland got the match started through his kick off. In the 2nd minute, Marshall Stoner fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Aurelio Connell, passed just outside the right post. When Vince Galloway came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Dacula AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vince Galloway couldn't finish the play. Duane Carbajal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silas Moreland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silas Moreland took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Duane Carbajal. Duane Carbajal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vince Galloway in the 27th minute of play forced Sawgrass's goalkeeper Duane Carbajal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sawgrass's goalkeeper Duane Carbajal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Silas Moreland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Dacula AFC's Aurelio Connell got control of the ball when Walter Hawley tried to sneak it across the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Walter Hawley made a kick off. After having played for 55 minutes, Marshall Stoner managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sawgrass's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marshall Stoner was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vince Galloway recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 63 minutes into the game, Edmund Crane was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dacula AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sawgrass the free kick. After 63 played minutes Dacula AFC got a freekick which was hit by Edmund Crane. In the 66th match minute, Dacula AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Arden to maneuver through the defense. Sawgrass's Heriberto Alston got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Marshall Stoner's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aurelio Connell was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. In the 71st minute, Julio Landis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Sawgrass getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Napoleon Hickman hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Dacula AFC's Antonio Maxwell tried to score from far away in the 75th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 76th minute, Julio Landis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vince Galloway who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 80thth minute tested the skills of Duane Carbajal when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Vince Galloway sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marshall Stoner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Aurelio Connell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Dacula AFC's Duane Carbajal threw himself towards the right post 89 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Silas Moreland, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Duane Carbajal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silas Moreland in the 91st minute of play. In the 97th minute of the match Sawgrass got a corner. Dacula AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Heriberto Alston ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Heriberto Alston almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Dacula AFC's Aurelio Connell did a great save. The Sawgrass manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Dacula AFC to win.
