Spectators: 7550 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1400, VIP seats: 150) Tallahassee‎ Yesterday FC's Jessie Gary started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Tallahassee‎ Yesterday FC's Jessie Gary got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Johnathan Stubbs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marshall Stoner, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. After 11 minutes Tallahassee‎ Yesterday FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Heriberto Alston who took care of the corner kick. Duane Carbajal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jessie Gary in the 15th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Tallahassee‎ Yesterday FC's Jessie Gary slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Duane Carbajal. That made the score 1-0 after 16 minutes of play. Johnathan Stubbs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marshall Stoner in the 20th minute of play. With a little luck, Sawgrass's Duane Carbajal got control of the ball when Jessie Gary tried to sneak it across the goal line. Brendan Jolly received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Duane Carbajal came out and tried to block the shot, but Brendan Jolly slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 31st minute. 37 minutes into the match, Sawgrass's goalkeeper Duane Carbajal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emmanuel Finch. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Walter Hawley was the one to do the kick off. Micah Kellogg kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. Sawgrass's Duane Carbajal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emmanuel Finch in the 62nd minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Walter Hawley had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Johnathan Stubbs. Tallahassee‎ Yesterday FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Walter Hawley was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Tallahassee‎ Yesterday FC's Johnathan Stubbs proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Tallahassee‎ Yesterday FC from getting a goal against them. Emmanuel Finch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Duane Carbajal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Sawgrass defense, Emmanuel Finch kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Duane Carbajal. The Sawgrass fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Duane Carbajal should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stephen Sykes during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Tallahassee‎ Yesterday FC's Stephen Sykes got a free kick in the 95th minute.
