The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Osvaldo Burrell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelio Connell having to interfere. Claudio Engel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Silas Moreland's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. In the 11th minute, Vince Galloway got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rory Bryant received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Aurelio Connell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Claudio Engel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silas Moreland, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Claudio Engel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silas Moreland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vince Galloway sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 22 minutes into the match, SCU Torreense's goalkeeper Claudio Engel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vince Galloway. A hard shot by Allen Bowman from long distance, 43 minutes into the match, got Claudio Engel's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rory Bryant stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Flint Corley in the 60thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Aurelio Connell, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 62 minutes, Julio Landis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dacula AFC and the SCU Torreense players grew even worse after the yellow card. After having played for 69 minutes, Vince Galloway managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dacula AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vince Galloway was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 70 played minutes SCU Torreense got a freekick which was hit by Osvaldo Burrell. Aurelio Connell made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Flint Corley sent off a good shot on target. Vince Galloway might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Claudio Engel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vince Galloway ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the SCU Torreense defense, Vince Galloway kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Claudio Engel. The SCU Torreense fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Claudio Engel should have stopped the shot. Vince Galloway fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudio Engel having to interfere. Dacula AFC's Vince Galloway got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 92 played minutes SCU Torreense got a freekick which was hit by Richie Carver. Antonio Maxwell was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 92nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Dacula AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while SCU Torreense had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
